How do I activate Bitdefender?
Sign in to Bitdefender Central at central.bitdefender.com or create a free account. Under My subscriptions, choose Activate with code and enter your activation code. You can then install Bitdefender on your devices from Central.
Can I extend an existing Bitdefender subscription?
Yes. Enter the new code for the same product in the Bitdefender Central account you already use, and Bitdefender adds the new term to your current subscription.
Do I need to uninstall my previous antivirus software?
Yes. Only one real-time antivirus program should run on a device, otherwise they can interfere with each other. Uninstall your previous security software before you install the new one. Microsoft Defender switches off automatically when another antivirus program is active.
What if my license does not work?
Contact us with your order number, the exact error message and a screenshot. We check the case and provide a working replacement or a refund. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
