Description

It is made for larger organizations and companies with their own IT department: it combines Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise, Exchange, OneDrive and SharePoint with Windows Enterprise, Intune and Microsoft Purview. Unlike the Business plans, E3 has no 300-user limit.

E3, E5 or Business Premium?

For up to 300 users, Business Premium covers many of the same security features at a lower price. If you need the complete Defender XDR suite, advanced compliance, Power BI Pro and Security Copilot, choose Microsoft 365 E5.

Additional note
Desktop apps run on Windows 11, Windows Server 2025 or 2022 and the three most recent macOS versions. The web apps run in current versions of Edge, Chrome, Firefox and Safari. On Windows 10, Microsoft 365 apps receive security updates until October 10, 2028.

Should we choose E3 or E5?

Microsoft 365 E3 covers the Office apps, email, Windows Enterprise, device management and core security. E5 adds the full Defender XDR suite, Entra ID P2, advanced Purview compliance, Power BI Pro, phone system and audio conferencing and Security Copilot. E5 suits organizations with high security and compliance requirements.

Is one license enough for the whole company?

No, each license is for one user. For several employees, order the matching quantity. Where desktop apps are included, each user can install them on up to five PCs or Macs, five tablets and five smartphones.

What do we need to set it up?

A Microsoft 365 business account, also called a tenant, with an administrator. If you don't have one yet, it is created during setup. The administrator assigns the licenses to users in the Microsoft 365 admin center and can connect your own domain for email.

Is Microsoft Teams included?

Microsoft sells its business and enterprise plans in versions with and without Teams. If you need Teams, please contact us before you order, and we will confirm which version you will receive.

What happens when the subscription ends?

Microsoft doesn't delete anything right away. For 30 days after the end date, users keep their normal access. For the following 90 days, only administrators can access and back up the data. After that, Microsoft deletes it. If you extend in time, everything continues without interruption.

What if my license does not work?

Contact us with your order number, the exact error message and a screenshot. We check the case and provide a working replacement or a refund. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
