Good to know

You redeem the product key in your Norton account and download the app for each device there. The 12 months start when you activate the key. Cloud Backup and SafeCam are only available on Windows (not in S mode or on PCs with ARM processors), and parental controls are not available on Mac.

How do I activate Norton?

Go to norton.com/setup, sign in to your Norton account or create one, and enter the 25-character product key. Then download Norton and install it on your devices.

Can I mix Windows, Mac, Android and iOS devices?

Yes. You can use the licenses on any combination of Windows PCs, Macs, Android devices, iPhones and iPads. Some features, such as cloud backup and parental controls, are not available on every platform.

Can I extend an existing Norton subscription?

Yes. Enter the new product key in the Norton account that holds your subscription, and the new term is added to it. If Norton also renews your subscription automatically, turn off automatic renewal in your Norton account.

Do I need to uninstall my previous antivirus software?

Yes. Only one real-time antivirus program should run on a device, otherwise they can interfere with each other. Uninstall your previous security software before you install the new one. Microsoft Defender switches off automatically when another antivirus program is active.

What if my license does not work?

Contact us with your order number, the exact error message and a screenshot. We check the case and provide a working replacement or a refund. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
